We welcome national and local news and weather accounts that are relevant to our member audience.
Approved News Source Accounts
The following news sources have been verified and approved:

Terms of Use
Accounts that use automated posting features must mark the account as unmonitored. This helps people to know they cannot interact with the post by replying, that the account is unmonitored. See https://toot.wales/settings/profile and select the “This is an automated account” setting.
Accounts that use automated posting features must automatically delete old posts. You can choose to keep posts that have been interacted with. See https://toot.wales/statuses_cleanup — Select “Automatically delete old posts” setting — Age threshold: 1 year — Keep pinned posts – make sure any pinned post is not removed — Keep direct messages – keep any message sent to this account directly by another user — Feel free to “Keep posts you favorited” and “Keep posts you bookmarked” — If you run polls, be sure to keep those as you may want to reference the results — Please do not select “Keep posts with media attachments”
- If you'd like to track activity on your posts, add exceptions below for “Keep posts favorited at least” and “Keep posts boosted at least”. This will preserve any posts that were favourited or boosted by your audience.
Removing stale media and posts helps keep our costs down. Please help #KeepTŵtTidy
Automatic mirroring from Twitter is forbidden unless: 1. the post contains the text “RT” 2. any Twitter usernames e.g. @name@twitter.com are suppressed
